Afghanistan in the 1st T-20 of the series hunted over the Zimbawean Cricket Team and played aggressively. Afghanistan again won the 6th international T-20 match held between both the teams. In match bowlers set the low target to chase for the team players against Zimabawe.

Skipper of winning team of the match, Aghar won the toss and opted to field first. The openers of Zimabawean Cricket Team gave a good start to the team but after them all the batting line fell down and caught by the Afghan bowlers. In the power play of six overs, openers scored 51 runs and then wickets of players were fallen down one by one. Only three players entered in the double figure, Mire scored 34 and Masakadza scored 18 runs while the Captain Cremer also scored 27 runs.

The team gave a target of 121 runs with the loss of nine wickets out which Rashid Khan took three and Shrafuddin Ashraf took two wickets to his name. Afghan Batsmen chesed the given target by opponent team quickly in almost 15 overs and all rounder Muhammad Nabi scored a quick inning of 40 runs and Muhammad Shehzad opening batsman also scored 20 runs.

Muzarbani took two wickets but also little bit expensive for the team by conceding 36 runs. Muhammad Nabi for his good all rounder performance was declared as man of the match.

The next match of the series will be played on 6th February at Sharjah Cricket Stadium and best of luck for the team.
